Inflection 1: Slowing or Reversing 200,000 Chronic Diseases by July 4, 2027

A Bold National Health Strategy Starts Here

What if the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) invited fifty functional, integrative, and lifestyle medicine clinics to join a two-year initiative—an evidence-gathering program grounded in truth, outcome tracking, patient-centered care and positive health outcomes?

What if we documented the slowing, halting, or reversal of chronic disease in 200,000 patients by July 4, 2027?

That’s the vision of the “200K in 2” Skeptics Reduction Program.

And its culminating goal is nothing short of historic: Let’s Scale What Already Works

All over the country, clinicians outside the standard of care model are helping patients avoid, slow and even reverse chronic disease…right now. These success stories will go undocumented or are dismissed by the traditional system—NOT because they aren’t working, but because they go against the public narrative. And because performance studies for measuring alternative medicine outcomes are difficult, expensive and rare, many people have no idea there’s a way to actually beat chronic disease through lifestyle changes.

The “200K in 2” Skeptics Reduction Program changes all that.

The strategy:

  • Develop a program that shows chronic disease can be defeated fairly quickly at scale
  • Unite high-performing alternative medicine clinics under one transparent, outcome-tracking program
  • Empower teams with data, AI tools, a shared mission and the megaphone of the HHS
  • Make doctors and patients aware of programs, clinicians and testimonials
  • Offer America a vision of health transformation that’s measurable, motivating, and personal

Steps to Execution

1. HHS Pilot Launch

  • Recruit and qualify 50 clinics experienced with functional, integrative, or root-cause-based medicine
  • Provide clinical participants with high level goals, guidelines, data systems and project coordination
  • Provide patient participants with education, guidelines and incentives if needed

2. Standardize the Outcomes Framework

  • Collaborate with leading institutions to define what reversal looks like
  • Document the patient/doctor interaction to ensure consistency with best practices
  • Use tools like PROMIS, symptom tracking, and lifestyle outcome indices

3. Deploy AI and Secure Reporting Tools

  • Enable safe, anonymous, compliant tracking of progress
  • Leverage AI to identify patterns and accelerate learnings

4. Share Stories, Build Momentum

  • Highlight quarterly milestones and health turnarounds
  • Show real patients with real results across conditions
  • Develop personal testimonials for educational purposes

5. Deliver a final National Report by July 4, 2027

  • Summarize details like participant demographics, disease type and stage, interactions
  • Accumulate program experiences, interactions, lifestyle changes and results
  • Create a data-rich, story-driven declaration of victory over chronic disease in 200K lives

Examples of Programs That Already Work

  • Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine: Tracking long-term improvements with root-cause treatments
  • Virta Health: Peer-reviewed evidence of diabetes reversal
  • True North Health Center, The UltraWellness Center, Amen Clinics: Clinics focused on lifestyle, nutrition, and precision diagnostics

Key Partners Who Could Be Recruited

  • Academic Institutions: Harvard, Stanford, University of Arizona
  • Tech Partners: Heads Up Health, Mymee, Apple Health, OpenNotes
  • Networks: Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), A4M, AIHM, ACLM
  • Policy Allies: NIH, CMS Innovation Center, CDC Nutrition Division

What Success Looks Like

By July 4, 2027, the United States would have:

  • 200,000+ stories of measurable chronic disease improvement or reversal
  • Evidence of lowering national costs for managing chronic disease
  • New pathways for medical reimbursement and prevention-focused care
  • A reinvigorated belief in what’s possible for human health
  • A vision, a model and framework for scaling programs nationally

And perhaps most powerfully:
A public sense of ownership and optimism that real change is not only possible—it’s already happening.
